The breather filters of the series NBF, BF-WP, BF, BFD, EBF and TBF are tank breather filters. They are made for air filtration in case of change of the filling volume of the liquid tank.
These filters prevent the penetration of contamination from the ambient air in the hydraulic fluid.
In addition, some breather filters are equipped with a filler filter. So when filling the tank only coarse contamination can be retained.
